Ralph is a highly skilled elevator systems specialist with over 20 years of hands-on industry experience, currently contributing his expertise to RTS Engineering.
His technical foundation was established during his service in the United States Air Force, where he studied electrical and aeronautical engineering and specialized in troubleshooting complex systems on aircraft such as the C-130 and B-1 bomber. Following his military career, Ralph transitioned into the vertical transportation industry through the “Helmets to Hardhats” program, launching his career with OTIS Elevator.
Ralph has held key roles across multiple elevator disciplines, including new construction installation, modernization (mod) mechanics, field service, and supervisory positions. In 2016, he was appointed National Engineer at Nouveau Elevator, where he was routinely tasked with resolving the most technically demanding and unresolved field issues—particularly those involving legacy and proprietary control systems.
His core strengths lie in system diagnostics, failure analysis, and root cause identification. Ralph is especially proficient in troubleshooting non-standard and OEM-specific elevator control systems, consistently restoring functionality with minimal downtime. His methodical approach to problem-solving, combined with a deep understanding of electromechanical systems, enables him to deliver reliable, long-term solutions under pressure.
